The businesswoman Sada Goray, who finds herself in the eye of the storm as a result of the efforts she would have made in public institutions, such as the Mivivienda Fund, to favor her company Marka Group, accepted effective collaboration and is collaborating with the justice.
This was stated by her lawyer, Carlos Caro, after specifying that her client has been giving information against the criminal organization that former president Pedro Castillo allegedly led.
“Sada Goray has submitted to effective collaboration and is collaborating with justice. She has been declaring in the Public Ministry for more than 60 hours, between virtual and face-to-face statements, we are talking about a file of 18 volumes where she has given information that has finally been defined in a resolution that is the fiscal provision that settles the accusations ”, told RPP.

Caro recalled that the businesswoman has lived in the United States since 2020, so she stressed that she has not fled the country, as people think.
Although she acknowledged that she was initially incorporated into the investigation as a member and financier of the alleged criminal organization, she emphasized that on January 25 the Prosecutor’s Office redefined the roles of the members of this group and did not include Goray.
According to what he said, the alleged criminal organization is made up of Pedro Castillo, Salatiel Marrufo and Geiner Alvarado, while Pilar Tijero and Mauricio Fernandini would be the links.

“The Prosecutor’s theory of the case is that (Sada Goray) is a private person, a businesswoman, who takes the services of, let’s say it like this, a criminal organization, but the link, the intermediaries, the ‘lobbyists’, such as says the tax resolution, they are Mrs. Tijero and Mr. Fernandini”, he pointed out.
In this sense, he indicated that Pilar Tijero was the one who knocked on Goray’s doors and introduced her to Salatiel Marrufo.
“In other words, the contact with public officials was not made by Mrs. Sada Goray, but by Pilar Tijero, and it is the theory of the Prosecutor’s Office case,” he said.

Although he recalled that the businesswoman has accepted before the Prosecutor’s Office that she delivered bribes and that she was involved in an act of corruption; It does not recognize that the result of these efforts would be a result or benefit in its favor.
“You have never received the deliverables, the benefits, without something visible. Being part of the criminal organization means: ‘what is the benefit for me and my family?’, she wondered.
Finally, Caro clarified that the appointment of the directors in the Mi Vivienda Fund is in charge of Fonafe, which implies the intervention of four ministries. For this reason, he criticized the fact that his sponsor is accused of being responsible for the changes in said institution.
