Malappuram> Sadiqali Shihab elected new state president of Muslim League The announcement was made by the National President of the League, Khader Moinuddin. The decision was taken at a meeting of the high-powered committee of the Muslim League held at the home of the late Hyder Ali.
Sadiqali also announced himself as chairman of the party’s National Political Advisory Council. Both positions were previously held by Hyder Ali Thangal. Sadiqali Thangal was the brother of Hyder Ali Shihab Thangal and the Malappuram district president of the Muslim League. Sadiqali Thangal, a member of the League’s high-powered committee, was in charge of the party while Hyder Ali was undergoing treatment.
