“Safe New Year’s Eve” operation activated in Bahía de Banderas

The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection of Nayaritthrough the State Tourist Police, has increased the police presence in the tourist area of ​​Bahía de Banderasas part of operational “Safe New Year’s Eve” that takes place in the state.

According to the department, each of the uniformed personnel conducts surveillance and crime prevention tours in commercial areas, bank branches and establishments of Nuevo Vallarta, Flamingos, Bucerías, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Punta de Mita. As well as in Sayulita, San Pancho and Lo de Marcos.

The objective, according to the state agency, is that whoever visits the destination can feel safe and can spend the holiday season in total harmony.

All this on par with prevention actions in urban areas and mountain areas of the municipality.

Therefore, they called on citizens to report any suspicious or unusual situation to the 911 emergency line.
