Riyadh: Madinah in Saudi Arabia is the safest city in the world for women traveling alone. The study was conducted by InsureMyTrip, a leading travel insurance website. Dubai is the third safest city for women. Meanwhile, Delhi is in the last five.

Madinah was chosen as the safest city because of its low crime rate. The city’s security list is based on ten indicators: women’s sense of security when traveling alone, crime reduction, providing assistance to women in need, and respect for women. Madina came first with 10 points.

The city of Chiang Mai in Thailand ranks second in terms of female security. The city has 9.06 points out of 10. It is followed by Dubai with 9.04 points and Japan’s Kyoto with 9.02 points. Macau, China is the fifth safest city for women traveling alone. Macau has 8.75 points out of 10.

Meanwhile, Johannesburg in South Africa has been found to be the safest city for women traveling alone. Johannes Z‍berg was given ten zero points in this study report. Kuala Lumpur is just ahead with 2.98 points. With a score of 3.39, Delhi is also in the top five in terms of female security. Indonesia’s Jakarta (3.47 points) and France’s Paris (3.78 points) are the other places in the list of the last five cities.
