Kochi: The crime branch has come up with more evidence against cyber expert Sai Shankar in the murder conspiracy case against actor Dileep. The crime branch has collected records of Sai Shankar’s arrival in Kochi and his stay in a hotel to destroy Dileep’s phone information.
On January 30, Dileep’s phone information was destroyed. The crime branch has found that Sai Shankar had arrived in Kochi the day before. Sai Shankar arrived in Kochi on the 29th and booked a room in a luxury hotel. Stayed at this hotel until January 31st. The probe team has collected bills including evidence that Sai Shankar stayed at the hotel.
Meanwhile, another complaint has been lodged against Sai Shankar. Minhaj, a native of Kozhikode, has lodged a fresh complaint against him. According to the complaint, Sai Shankar, who had taken a loan of Rs 45 lakh, was threatened with a gun through a video call when he asked for it back. Kozhikode City Police is currently investigating the complaint.
Meanwhile, the High Court on Monday heard a petition filed by Sai Shankar against the Crime Branch. The prosecution told the court that Sai Shankar was not cooperating with the investigation and did not appear despite the notice. The petition will be reconsidered on Tuesday for a detailed hearing. The High Court on Monday will also hear Sai Shankar’s anticipatory bail petition in the murder conspiracy case.
