The artists, who sang and enchanted the audience with a musical cocktail drawn from their rich repertoire, knew how to keep their fans in suspense throughout a concert where they sang along with them to famous hits.

Led by Omar Sayed, the legendary group, which opened the concert, was able to create a beautiful communion with a trance-ridden audience who hummed along with them to countless hits, including “Siniya” and “Allah ya moulana”.

Then came the turn of Saida Charaf, Moroccan icon of Hassani song, who as soon as she got on stage made the audience vibrate and dance, and got into the game.

Dressed in a sparkling navy blue “melhfa”, Saïda Charaf, with her powerful voice and inexhaustible energy, quickly got the audience to follow her rhythm and sing her hits that she learns by heart.

This euphoric atmosphere went up a notch when the native of Laâyoune sublimated her fans by performing with brilliance, finesse and in a typically local style, well-rhythmic folk dances punctuated by songs inspired by the local cultural heritage, notably “Reggada”.

In a statement to MAP, Saïda Charaf said she was “very honored” to be chosen for the closing of this festival in Saidia, noting that this festive evening took place in a remarkably friendly atmosphere.

For his part, Omar Sayed stressed that this concert, which coincides with the festivities marking the anniversaries of the revolution of the King and the People and the Youth Day, offered the opportunity to reconnect with the public in Saidia, stating that this evening, which took place in good conditions in terms of organization, testifies to the communion between the group and the Moroccan public in general.

Organized from July 14 to August 21 on the beaches of M’diq, Al Hoceima, Tangier, Martil, Saïdia and Nador, the 19th edition of the “Festival des Plages” saw the participation of more than 200 artists, including several major national and international stars, who performed more than 110 varied concerts.
