Saint-Hyacinthe | An exit from the road causes a serious injury

A driver was seriously injured after leaving the road on Friday afternoon in Saint-Hyacinthe, in Montérégie. The man was ejected from his vehicle after doing several barrels, according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). He was transported to a hospital center, where there is no fear for his life.

The police received calls at around 2:30 p.m., concerning an exit from the road that took place on Chemin Rapide-Plat Sud.

The circumstances that led to the driver’s loss of control in his 30s are still unknown.

A police officer specializing in collision investigation went to the scene of the event. An investigation is underway.
