The concept was born at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire: to restore sailing to its place in the maritime landscape. With the announcement of the order for two liners by Orient Express, a subsidiary of the Accor group which is entering the world of cruises, the last major French shipyards are seeing the realization of a project unveiled in 2018: Solid Sail, a revolutionary system of sail propulsion.
