The EOE will have a meeting tomorrow (9/7) to decide who will be the flags (one man and one woman) of the Greek delegation to the Olympic Games. As it seems, at the moment the favorites for this huge honor are Maria Sakkari and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
With Milto Tedoglou having refused to be the flag bearer for reasons of force majeure, Giannis had already been mentioned as the male flag bearer, saying that it would be great to experience this. Based on what is known now, Maria Sakkari, who is ranked No. 9 in the World at the moment, the female athlete who will carry the flag.
Katerina Stefanidis was a female candidate, but for reasons of force majeure she also cannot be at the stadium.
