The Hellenic Olympic Committee will have a meeting tomorrow Tuesday (9/7) to decide which flags (one man and one woman) will be on the Greek delegation at the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.
As it seems, at the moment the favorites for this huge honor are Maria Sakkari and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
With Milto Tedoglou having refused to be the flag bearer for reasons of force majeure, Giannis had already been mentioned as the male flag bearer, saying that it would be great to experience this. Based on what is known now, Maria Sakkari, who is ranked No. 9 in the World at the moment, the female athlete who will carry the flag.
It is recalled that Greece is always the first to enter the field at the opening ceremony, as the country where the Olympic Games were born.
