The second round of the Africa Cup of Nations continues tonight (Saturday) when Nigeria tops the list again, this time with a wonderful 1: 3 over Sudan. The Super Eagles make voices of a team that can go all the way and after the victory over Egypt in the opening round, they are with six points in the tournament and lead the 4th house all the way to the quarterfinals. In addition, Egypt recorded a hard 0: 1 over Guinea-Bissau and achieved a premiere victory in the tournament thanks to a first goal by Muhammad Salah.

After suffering a particularly painful loss in the form of 1-0 to Nigeria, the Egyptians knew that any result other than a victory was unthinkable and although they had a hard time, they eventually achieved their debut victory in the tournament thanks to a single goal by Muhammad Salah in the 70th minute. In the 82nd minute Guinea made a lot of heartbeats to Egypt after they had already equalized, but Balde’s goal was disallowed for a foul. Following the victory, Egypt are in second place in House 4 with three points, two points above Sudan and Guinea-Bissau when in the final round they will face Sudan. Guinea-Bissau on the other hand will face Nigeria for a tough game. The decisive games will be held on Wednesday.

Three minutes after the opening whistle, Samuel Chukwaza, a Villarreal player, gave Nigeria a quick advantage and on the verge of going down to the break Taiv Avni, a Union Berlin striker, doubled. Nigeria played excellent football and with the opening of the second half Moses Simon made it 0: 3. In the 70th minute Sudan was honored with a debut goal in the tournament when Walildin penetrated Dyke from the penalty spot and set the final score – 1: 3 to Nigeria.
