Brentford defender Ben Mai praised Egyptian Mohamed Salah after the latter scored two goals in Liverpool’s 6-1 victory over Leeds United in the 31st round of the English Premier League, setting a new record.
Ben Mayyi admitted that Mo Salah is one of the best players he has ever played against.
“Salah is a fantastic player, probably one of the best players I’ve played against,” Ben May told Sky Sports.
He added, “Salah works hard for his team, and this is what I love about him.”
The Brentford defender pointed out: “The defense against Mohamed Salah is very difficult, especially in individual confrontations. He can move in any direction.”
He revealed: I remember the first time I played against him, I hit him with one of the balls, and he really surprised me with his physical strength.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Salah became the player with the largest number of goals scored with the left foot in the English Premier League, after his two goals against Leeds United, with 106 goals, ahead of Robbie Fowler, who scored 105 goals.
