The only downside, in the second quarter of 2022, temporary employment, which remains a leading indicator on the job market, fell by 2.5% (-20,500 jobs), after a decline of 1.9% in the first quarter of 2022 (-15,800 jobs). It fell in the first quarter of 2020 and then increased significantly until the end of 2021. However, temporary employment remains slightly above its level at the end of 2019 (+ 1.6%).

Catering still creating jobs

Several sectors recruited strongly in the second quarter This is the case of the commercial tertiary sector excluding temporary work with an increase of 0.8%, but also the accommodation and catering sector which contributed the most to the overall increase in the trimester.
