Salary in the couple: “I earn more than him and that poses a problem for him”

Sometimes a source of unease when it is not simply concealed, the subject of money in the couple has above all been observed in the light of the inequalities of which heterosexual women remain the main victims. According to INSEE, three out of four women earn less money than their spouse. And their couple makes them lose it: in his book “The price to pay” (Editions The Links that Liberate), the journalist Lucile Quillet looked at all the phantom expenses that a woman makes within this common framework, as well as the money that she does not earn, or less, because of the investment of time and energy, which is difficult quantifiable, which she puts into her relationship.
