Sale of gold coins at Krishnagiri Kota Post Offices

Sale of gold notes has started in all post offices in Krishnagiri district.

Krishnagiri Division Post Office Superintendent Raghavendran issued a press release on Tuesday in this regard:

Sale of Gold Bonds at all Post Offices in Krishnagiri Division Dec. It will be held till 23rd. One can buy from one gram to four thousand grams. The price of one gram of 24 carat gold foil is Rs.5,409. The investment period is eight years. Gold bonds can be converted into cash at the prevailing gold value on its closing date. Even after five years the gold bond can be converted into cash.

In this, 2.5 percent interest will be calculated by the Central Reserve Bank and credited to the investor’s account every six months. In this scheme the payers will be given a postal receipt first and a gold bond after 20 days.

Aadhaar number, PAN number and bank account are required to join Thangabhatram scheme. Gold bonds can be used to get loans from banks when money is needed. It has been informed that the people of Krishnagiri district can invest and benefit from this project.
