The studio owner cut off his hand demanding a refund of the money deposited in Thammampatti.
Anandan (43) hails from Koppampatti area of Trichy district. He also runs a studio in the same area. In this situation, he has deposited Rs. 3 lakhs in a bank (Canara Bank) in Thammampatti area of Salem district last 2. 1 1 2 years ago.
In this situation, Anandan has gone to withdraw the money deposited in the bank for his need for the last 6 months. It is learned that the bank employees at the time claimed that the money deposited by Anandan was in the insurance scheme and that one third of the money was lost due to non-payment.
Following this, Anandan asked the bank employees that I had deposited the money. Later, Anandan lodged a complaint at the Thammampatti police station. Anandan, who came back to the bank yesterday, and his wife Balamani sat at the bank and refused to go out as they did not want to go without knowing the results he wanted.
Following this, the bank employees informed the Thammampatti police station as they waited till night. The police were trying to get them out of the bank. Then suddenly Anandan cut his hand with the knife he was hiding in which the injured were sent to Attur Government Hospital for treatment and Thammampatti police are investigating.
