Sales of new cars in Russia grew by 58% in January – July

On July 12, Vedomosti reported that, according to the Autostat analysis company, in the first half of 2024, the weighted average price of a new passenger car in Russia increased by 14% in annual terms and was 3.16 million roubles. At the same time, in May prices even decreased by 1% year-on-year to RUB 2.95 million. For the entire year 2023, the average price of a new passenger car in Russia is 2.96 million rubles, which is 24% more than in 2022.
