Sales of used cars in July fell by 18%

Sales of used passenger cars in Russia in July decreased by almost 18% compared to July 2021, follows from the Avtostat info survey based on vehicle registration data. In total, Russians bought 478,044 used cars last month.

Of these, 29% accounted for the products of Russian brands, the remaining 71% – foreign. The share of domestic cars for the year in the segment increased by almost 1 percentage point. In July, sales of foreign cars fell faster than domestic ones: by 18.6% against 15.2%.
