Salman said- I also go to the balcony for fresh air
In his statement to the Crime Branch, Salman had said, ‘I am a film star by profession and have been working in the Hindi film industry for the last 35 years. On special occasions, a crowd of my fans gathers outside my house Galaxy Apartment in Bandra Bandstand. To show my love towards my fans, I also wave my hand from the balcony of the first floor of my flat. When there is a party at my house, friends and family members and my father come, I spend time with them in the balcony. After getting free after work or early in the morning, I also go to the balcony for fresh air.’ He has also mentioned that he has also kept private security for himself.
‘I and my family were threatened’
In this statement, he had said, ‘In the year 2022, my father lodged a complaint at the Bandra Police Station. My father had received a letter in which I and my family were threatened and it was kept on the bench on the other side of my apartment.’
‘I received a mail from one of my team employees on my official email’
He also told, ‘In March 2023, I received a mail from an employee of my team on my official email, in which I and my family were threatened on the lines of Lawrence Bishnoi. After this, my team lodged a complaint at Bandra Police Station.’
‘Two people arrived at my farmhouse with fake names and identity cards’
Referring to another incident, Salman said, ‘In January this year, two people were trying to enter my farmhouse in Panvel with fake names and identity cards. Panvel Taluka Police had registered a case against both the accused. I got information from the police that both the criminals are from Fazilka village in Rajasthan, which is also the village of Lawrence Bishnoi. Along with this, I have asked all the people with me, my relatives, family members to always remain alert. I have been given Y plus security by Mumbai Police. I always have trained policemen, bodyguards, private security bodyguards with me for my security cover.’
‘I am sure that Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang did the firing’
The statements given by Salman while telling about the day of the firing are something like this. He said, ‘On April 14, 2024, I was sleeping when I heard the sound of firecrackers. It was 4.55 in the morning when the police bodyguard told that two people on a bike had fired a gun on the balcony of the first floor of Galaxy Apartment. Even before this, attempts have been made to harm me and my family. I came to know that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for this attack through social media and I believe that Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang had fired on my balcony.’
‘Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for this attack through a Facebook post’
In his statement, he finally said, ‘My bodyguard had lodged an FIR in Bandra Police Station regarding this attack on 14 April with the intention of killing me. I also came to know that Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for this attack through a Facebook post and before this, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang themselves had talked about killing me and my family in one of their interviews. I am sure that when the people of my house were sleeping, Lawrence Bishnoi carried out this firing with the help of his gang members.
