As part of the thematic trips of the German Embassy, this year the prominent Salvadoran dj and concert organizer, Henry Chacón, better known as DJ Oz, will travel to Germany.
The Salvadoran musician was nominated by the Embassy and selected along with other music managers, producers and festival directors from different countries to be part of a special program of visits, exhibitions, talks and meetings in Berlin. In addition, a visit to the “Juicy Beats” event in Dortmund, one of the largest electronic music festivals in Germany, is scheduled.

Recently, Chacón received the official invitation of the Ambassador of this Embassy, Dr. Peter Woeste.
“Music is in continuous transformation and the groups at festivals change. This trip is a good opportunity to meet new music trends and make international contacts,” he said.

The Salvadoran’s invitation includes air tickets, lodging, food and transfers to the different activities programmed by the organizers in Germany.
Every year, the German Embassy manages exchange opportunities for professionals from different branches through thematic trips. These trips are part of the cooperation for development and culture that Germany has promoted in El Salvador for more than 50 years.
