The Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA) reported that the terminals of El Salvador maintained high levels of activity from January 1 to November 15 at the El Salvador International Airport, 3,444,031 departure, entry and connection passengers were served.
“From January 1 to October 15, 2023, at our El Salvador International Airport we have served 3,444,031 departure, entry and connecting passengers. This represents an increase of 28% compared to 2022,” CEPA reported.
Additionally, in the port of Acajutla on the same date, more than 4.4 million metric tons of imports and exports have been moved.
“During the week of October 9 to 15, 2023, in our Port of Acajutla we moved 77.9% more containers, compared to 2022. In this same period we have also registered a 25% increase in ship service,” CEPA detailed.
