San Salvador. The latest electoral survey by the Francisco Gavidia University (UFG) has shown that the population does not know the opposition presidential candidates, contrary to what happens with the candidate of the Nuevas Ideas party.
Those responsible for this survey said that this is the VI Social and Political Humor Survey: “These are the data, don’t get angry”, which reflects that 85.8% of Salvadorans do not know the presidential candidate Marina Murillo, of Fraternidad Patriota Salvadoreña; 83.7% do not know José Renderos from Fuerza Solidaria; 79.8% do not know Joel Sánchez, from Arena; 78.4% do not know Luis Parada, from Nuestro Tiempo; and 64.6% do not know Manuel Flores, of the FMLN.
Only 1.0% of Salvadorans say they do not know the presidential candidate of the Nuevas Ideas party, Nayib Bukele; On the contrary, 84.1% consider Bukele the best presidential candidate. Therefore, 77% of the population would support the re-election of the NI candidate.
The survey also highlights that President Nayib Bukele is the politician who has 81.5% favorable opinion; The person closest to Bukele in positive opinions is the Mayor of San Salvador, Mario Durán, with 32.8% and third place is occupied by the president of the Legislative Assembly, Ernesto Castro, with 24%. Manuel Flores, Joel Sánchez and Luis Parada are at the bottom of favorable opinions with 4.1%, 3.1% and 2.9%, respectively.
Regarding voting intentions for presidential candidates, Fuerza Solidaria and FPS have 0.6% each; that of Nuestro Tiempo, 1.1%; that of Arena, 2.7%; that of the FMLN, 2.9%; and New Ideas, 70.9%.
Regarding the case of municipal councils, the greatest voting intention is held by the Nuevas Ideas party (54.7%); They are followed very far by Arena (5.8%), GANA (3.3%), PDC (3.0%), Fmln (2.8%), PCN (1.7%), Vamos (1.0%), Nuestro Tiempo (0.9%), Fuerza Solidarity (0.7%), CD (0.6%) and FPS (0.1%).
