The rapid intervention of the professional fire brigade and volunteer fire brigade prevented a possible major fire in the Salzburg district of Liefering on the evening of Easter Monday.
A fire broke out in the paint shop of an industrial company on Franz-Sauer-Strasse. Flammable solvents and paints were stored there, making the situation dangerous. A fire-fighting attack carried out by the fire brigades on two sides of the object quickly rendered the flames harmless. The extent of the property damage and the cause of the fire had not yet been determined Tuesday morning.
