A 41-year-old worker from the Tamsweg district was seriously injured on Saturday during logging work in a steep forest in the municipality of Stall (Spittal an der Drau district). While he was working, a stone loosened higher up, rolled down the valley and hit the man in the leg with full force. He called for help, work colleagues became aware and alerted the rescue. The Salzburg man was flown to the Lienz district hospital.
