“The incident took place while Samantha and Vijay were doing a stunt sequence in Pahalgam area of Kashmir. The scene was very tough. The two actors had to drive over ropes tied on both sides of the Lidder River. But unfortunately, the vehicle fell into deep water and both of them sustained back injuries, ”said a crew member from the film’s set, according to the Hindustan Times.
The accident happened on Saturday and Samantha and Vijay reportedly resumed work on Sunday. While shooting inside Dal Lake in Srinagar, the two actors were rushed to nearby hotels due to back pain. Samantha and Vijay were then given physiotherapy.
‘They complained of back pain during the shooting. The two actors were immediately taken to a hotel on the shores of Dal Lake. Physiotherapists have been called in and therapy is continuing, ‘the crew member added. However, the ‘Kushi’ team left Kashmir on Monday afternoon after completing the shooting schedule.
