Actress Samantha got emotional during the trailer launch of Telugu film Shakunthalam. Samantha Vithumpi cried while the film’s director Gunasesar was sharing her shooting memories. Samantha said that despite facing a big crisis in her life recently, there is no shortage of her love for cinema.
Samantha has been battling myositis since her divorce. Myositis is a disease that causes muscle weakness and pain in the body. It is a disease that affects the immune system of the body. It affects all the muscles in the neck, shoulders, thighs and back of the body. Constant pain and fatigue are also symptoms of this disease. Shakuntalam is based on the love story of Shakuntala and Dushyantha in the Mahabharata called ‘Abhijnana Sakunthalam’. It will hit the theaters on February 17. The film will also release in 3D. The makers have decided to release the film in 3D to ensure a new and engaging experience for the viewers.
Actress Samantha Shakuntala will play the role of Dev Mohan, who is famous for Sufi Yum Sujatham. The movie is written and directed by Gunasekhar. The film is made on a big budget.
Reportedly, Aditi Balan will be seen as Anasu and Mohan Babu as Durvasav Maharshi. The film also has an excellent cast including Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi, Madhubala, Gauthami, Ananya Nagalla and Jishu Sengupta. Icon star Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha also plays a pivotal role in the film, another attraction in the star cast.
