The slowdown process is not new and Samsung is not the only one when it was previously revealed that OnePlus also changes the performance of the devices according to its wishes.

It has now been revealed that Shiomi is doing exactly the same thing with its new devices. The new information was revealed by no less than the founder of Geekbench Asher Tweeted on Twitter And revealed amazing numbers. He said they performed a test with their app when it is normally detected in Shiomi’s system and when it is detected as a Fortnite app. The difference between the two tests was not small at all. In single cores there was a 30% percent decrease in performance while in multiple cores the performance decreased by 15% percent. Simply put: when the operating system in the new Shiomi devices, in this case the test was performed on the Xiaomi Mi 11, detects that it is a standard application, such as Fortnite, it slows down the performance of the device. When the system detects that it is a device for checking the speed of the device, in this case Geekbench, it increases the performance of the device.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 currently ranks third in the single-core performance comparison table. The POCO F2 Pro smartphone ranks second in the multi-core performance comparison table. The question is whether this data is true and not false? How believable are the results?
Android Police contacted Shiomi to find out why this is happening, whether it is to maintain the device temperature, extend battery life or simply try to cheat the numbers so that Shiomi devices show high results in the published performance comparison tables. Shiomi has not yet commented.
