Seoul, February 20 (QNA) – Samsung announced the availability of sets of new audio features in some of its devices, as the new upgrades include the features of Auracast, 360 Audio, and Auto Switch.

According to the company: “The Auracast feature allows one device to broadcast audio to a theoretically unlimited number of other devices such as speakers and headphones. Samsung has made this feature available to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro headphones and its advanced TVs, and has also added it to the recently launched Galaxy S24 series.” .

The company said: “It will make these features available through upcoming updates at the end of February for the Galaxy Buds 2, Buds FE, and Buds 2 Pro.”

Samsung revealed an expanded list of phones and tablets that will be able to broadcast or receive audio via the Auracast feature. The Samsung Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 phones, in addition to the Tab S9 tablets, will be able to take full advantage of the Auracast feature, and other phones such as Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, A54 5G and M54 5G only receive audio.

It is worth noting that the Auracast feature will also be widely present in audio devices from other companies such as JBL and Sennheiser, and Samsung is also working to expand support for the Audio 360 feature to include a selection of its Neo QLED and OLED TVs, which is the surround sound feature that makes the sound appear As if it comes from the direction of the screen, as you will provide in the Buds 2 Pro and Buds 2 headphones.

Regarding the automatic switching feature, which automatically switches the Bluetooth connection in the Buds 2 Pro headset between tablets, TVs, and the smartphone when a call comes in, Samsung says: The feature is expanding to support Galaxy Book laptops.
