Samsung announces the Exynos 1380 and 1130 processors for medium phones

belbalady.net Samsung announced the launch of its two new processors from the Exynos series, namely: Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380, and the two processors target middle-class Galaxy A series smartphones.

The Exynos 1380 processor comes with 5nm technology and is equipped with four ARM Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4GHz, four ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz, and the Mali-G68 MP5 graphics processing unit at 950MHz. This processor can drive Full HD+ displays at up to 144Hz refresh rate, and is compatible with LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 RAMs as well as UFS 3.1 storage.

The Exynos 1380 processor features support for cameras with a resolution of up to 200 megapixels, and it has a neural processing unit (NPU) dedicated to artificial intelligence. The processor also comes with a built-in modem that supports 5G networks at a frequency of 6 GHz, download speeds of up to 3.67 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1.28 Gbps. It also supports five geolocation systems, BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS, in addition to the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC chips, and a USB Type-C port.

The other processor announced by the company today is the Exynos 1330, the first low-level processor from Samsung that comes with 5nm technology. It features two 2.4GHz ARM Cortex-A78 cores, six 2GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, and Mali-G68 MP2 GPU.

The Exynos 1330 processor can drive Full HD+ displays at up to 120Hz refresh rate, and is compatible with LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 2.2/UFS 3.1 storage.

This processor comes with an image processing unit that supports cameras with a resolution of up to 108 megapixels, and it can take pictures with a resolution of 32 megapixels without delay. Also available in the processor is a built-in modem that supports 5G networks at a frequency of 6 GHz, and download speeds of up to 2.55 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1.28 Gbps. It supports the same geolocation systems as the Exynos 1380, but Wi-Fi support is limited to Wi-Fi 5 technology.
