In early April, Samsung smartphone users complained of multiple bugs after updating to One UI 6.1. The South Korean brand explained the problems as Google’s fault, reports the 9to5Google portal, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

With the release of One UI 6.1 for Galaxy S23 series devices, users began to complain about touch screens not working properly. Problems ranged from the screen completely failing to deteriorating touch sensitivity. An investigation by Samsung found that the problem was caused by a bug in the Google Discover Feed app.

Samsung and Google are currently actively preparing a fix for this bug. As a temporary solution, users are suggested to reset the Google app cache in Settings. However, it will be impossible to do this if the screen fails. Perhaps this can be done by connecting a computer mouse to the smartphone via USB.
