The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s S Pen has officially passed the FCC certification process, giving us a closer look at the design and specifications of Samsung’s upcoming flagship device. With the rumored announcement of the Galaxy S24 series in mid-January 2024, excitement is building as more details about the high-end devices continue to leak.
The S Pen stylus, which will be compatible with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, has received FCC certification with the model number EJ-PS928 and FCC ID A3LEJPS928. The design of the S Pen appears to be similar to the previous model, with a sharp plastic nib, an indent on the top, and a button. Additionally, it features Bluetooth LE connectivity for gestures, with its frequency range listed as 2,402 – 2,408MHz and a maximum RF output power of 1.082mW.
While the S Pen is shown in a Grey/Graphite color in the FCC documents, it is expected to be available in multiple colors. However, it remains unclear whether the S Pen will carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
As for the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s specifications, rumors suggest it will sport a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor, and options for 8GB/12GB RAM with 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. The device is also rumored to feature a 5,000mAh battery, stereo speakers, and an impressive camera setup, including a 200MP primary camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, 10MP telephoto camera, 50MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP selfie camera. Additionally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra could potentially feature two-way satellite connectivity for emergency texting and calling.
