Users of Samsung Galaxy S21 series smartphones have been complaining on social networks about green bars appearing on the screen after a firmware update. Day.Az reports this with reference to the Android Authority portal.
Galaxy S21 Ultra and S21 FE users mostly complain about the appearance of thin vertical green stripes. According to experts, the problem is physical in nature, since it cannot be solved by simply rebooting the smartphone. For many, stripes appear after an update or when actively using devices in games.
Most likely, the problem is related to a faulty cable connecting the screen to the motherboard. Perhaps during a game or update, the smartphone heats up, which provokes the appearance of those same lines.
The number of complaints on social networks indicates the widespread nature of the problem. At the moment, Samsung has not commented on the situation. If the problem is still software in nature, the tech giant may release another update with a fix.
However, if it is a physical problem, it may only be resolved by replacing the screen or device. The warranty for Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones is no longer valid, since the line was introduced in 2021 (S21 FE – in 2022).
