Smeline together with Samsung launched in Israel the Freestyle projector that the company presented at the beginning of the year, offering a complete entertainment solution in a mobile product with a price of NIS 3,790.
Remember, Freestyle is in a particularly compact projector that the company calls a ‘mobile cinema hall’, and actually comes with everything you need: the projector itself, a fairly powerful built-in speaker, and also the Tizen operating system that popped back out of nowhere to operate apps such as YouTube and Netflix (Netflix).
It supports a resolution of up to 1080p and a brightness of up to 550 lumens. However, Samsung claims that with an automatic focus and image processing system it will be possible to easily project on any surface, including the ceiling, with a viewing area of 30 to 100 inches. The speaker is able to distribute sound 360 degrees, and there is also a microphone for voice commands, whether through Samsung’s assistant Bixby, or Amazon’s Alexa.
When not used as a content streaming projector, The Freestyle also provides an environmental lighting effect using a lid
The transparent lens. Along with the speaker and the music playing, it combines visual effects that can be projected on a wall,
Floor and anywhere else.
The projector comes with a smart operating system that can display content from applications without the need to connect to another device, but if necessary it also has an HDMI input for projecting content from a computer or game console.
