Samsung has introduced a new smartphone Galaxy XCover6 Pro, which features a protected case. A smartphone with the Android 12 operating system and OneUI proprietary shell will enter the market in July. Its cost is not named.

The novelty received a Snapdragon 778G chip from Qualcomm with support for 5G networks, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with microSD memory cards. The smartphone has a 6.6-inch Full HD + screen (1080×2408 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The touch display supports operation with wet or gloved hands.

The Galaxy XCover6 Pro features a 13MP front camera, a 50MP main lens and an 8MP wide-angle lens. There are Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless protocols, an NFC module, a USB Type-C connector and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Ruggedized features include a programmable Push-To-Talk button, and a replaceable 4050 mAh battery with 18W charging support that is IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certified for dust, moisture, temperature extremes, and shock resistance. It is possible to connect a keyboard, mouse and external screen via Samsung DeX.
