The previous sensor ISOCELL HP1 was introduced about 9 months ago and in fact was the first sensor to show support for 200 megapixels even though no device came out with it.

The 4-in-1 connection adds up to 1.12μm pixels for 50-megapixel images. The new sensor also supports a 16-to-1 connection for large 2.24μm pixels and 12.5-megapixel images for low-light photos.

Samsung boasts of autofocus capabilities Super-QPD Which exist in the new sensor. In fact, every pixel has the ability to focus automatically, which should result in fast, sharp and accurate shooting results.

In addition, Samsung has upgraded the technology Smart-ISO Pro Allows you to take 3 photos at different levels of exposure (low, medium and high) and combine them into one image with a wide dynamic range. This upgrade brings photography capabilities with a display of 68 trillion colors at 14bit depth which is 64 times more than what the previous sensor brought.

Samsung is already ready to provide the device makers with the new sensor when we are expected to see new devices as early as this year.
