Will Samsung be showing several new cell phones with a folding screen in August?
There is speculation on the Internet that the Korean manufacturer could present both the Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 at an upcoming unpacked event. In addition, a Galaxy S21 FE is planned, is it[called on the Korean news site Yonhap.
Like all models in the Fold series, the Galaxy Z Fold3 can be opened like a book to reveal a large screen (7.55 inches). When folded, the device has a front-filling screen (6.2 inches) on the outside.
According to rumors on the Internet, the Fold3 will have a built-in selfie camera (16 megapixels) that is placed under the screen.
That means: The usual opening for the camera would be eliminated. First pictures from the blog 91mobiles were published and the Fold3 should show, the rumors seem to confirm.
Some rumors claim that the selfie camera on the Galaxy Z Flip3 should also be placed below the screen, so it no longer has to take photos through an opening in the display. Other sources on the Internet contradict this – including a video by technology insider Evan Blass, on which the Flip3 should be seen.
Like its predecessors, the device can be opened like a classic flip phone. When opened, it shows a touchscreen with a screen size of 6.7 inches. When folded, it has a screen on the outside that, with a screen size of 1.9 inches, should be significantly larger than the previous models (0.98 inches).
The Galaxy S21 FE, which is also expected, is said to have a 6.4-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. Allegedly also on board: The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, a 5G cellular connection and Android 11.
All three devices could be presented on August 11th, there is speculation on the Internet.
