Samsung officially launches the Exynos 1280 processor chip

The South Korean company Samsung revealed a new processor chip with distinctive specifications and a manufacturing accuracy of 5 nanometers, which it called the Exynos 1280.

The new chip will support the company’s medium versions of the Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy M33 phones.

This processor features the Samsung EUV manufacturing process with a precision of 5 nm, and contains 8 cores, 2 Cortex-A78 cores, 6 Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz with a depth of 64 bits, and an Arm Mail-G68 display card.

The processor will contain an AI engine, a modem chip that supports 5G NR Sub-6GHz, 5G NR mmWave 1 at 2.55 Gbps in DL, 1.28 Gbps in UL and multiple 5G chips in global markets.

The chip will also support Wi-Fi 802.11ac MIMO dual-frequency 2.4/5G, a 108-megapixel sensor, or triple settings for a 16-megapixel camera, or 4k video recording at 30 frames per second.

Samsung said that the new processor will be compatible with a screen with a quality display of Full HD Plus.
