Just before the opening of the CES 2023 exhibition, Samsung (Samsung) unveiled a pair of screens under the Odyssey brand, headed by the Odyssey Neo G9 with a 57-inch display and 8K resolution, consisting of a pair of 4K UHD screens and a wide aspect ratio of 32 x 9.

Similar to its predecessor, Odyssey Neo G9 is a 1000R radius concave screen with a Quantum Mini LED technology panel that complies with the VESA Display HDR 1000 standard for extremely high image quality. The screen has a response speed of 1 hundredths of a second and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, like its predecessor, but upgrades to a DisplayPort 2.1 connection interface that allows double data traffic for uninterrupted content streaming.

Another model Samsung unveiled is the Odyssey OLED G9, an upgrade to the G9 with a high-contrast OLED panel and deep black color. It is 49 inches, also convex with a radius of 1800R in an aspect ratio of 32 x 9 and a resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels. The panel uses Quantum Dot technology and although it is OLED, it provides a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 1 hundredths of a second, supporting the HDR True Black 400 standard.

Apart from that, Odyssey OLED G9 is also a smart screen that integrates an operating system with a variety of applications for quick access to streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube and more. You can also run gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce. It has a Mini-DisplayPort, HDMI and USB-C connection that also allows charging up to 65 watts.

The prices for the new screens have not yet been revealed, but it is likely that they will not be cheap.
