But now Samsung and Vodafone-Idea are trending due to a deal. Because China has suffered a huge loss due to this. With its help, four major 4G network gears will be replaced in the country. Samsung is facing direct challenge from companies like Nokia and Ericsson in the Indian telecom gear market, but the South Korean company has weakened everyone after this deal.
After this deal, Samsung can get telecom equipment supply contract for VI. Telecom equipment can be installed by Voda in Punjab, Bihar, Odisha and Karnataka circles. This includes logistics and labor cost. According to ET, some financial negotiations are going on between the two companies and the deal between the two can be completed very soon. If the report is to be believed, China was earlier eyeing this deal. Because currently network gear is supplied to Voda by Nokia and Ericsson. In such a situation, this is bad news for China.
BSNL had also taken a similar decision-
After the testing of BSNL 5G, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted that we should not take help from China for the network. We have also shown this by doing it. The equipment used for BSNL 5G is not Chinese. It is going to be completely Indian. Now Samsung and VI have done a similar deal, so it can be said that in a way this is India’s victory and China is not going to get any benefit from it. The most positive thing about this deal is that there is no interference from China in it.
