Samsung is expected to hold a special announcement event (Galaxy Unpacked) on August 10, in about three weeks from today. The event will begin at 16:00 (Israel time) and will be broadcast live from the United States, during which Samsung is expected to launch the next generation of its foldable phones – its Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
According to the reports and estimates published so far, alongside the devices, we are also expected to see a pair of new smart watches – Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro – and wireless headphones (Galaxy Buds 2 Pro). As of this writing, not much information has been published about the new products, but several details can be found from the company’s publications. Among other things, in the order you can see a new foldable device and it may be the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

If this is indeed the device in question, then it seems that the rumors published so far are true, and it does include only minimal updates. According to reports, its shape is the same as the previous generation, with a dual rear camera and side-mounted power button/fingerprint scanner. In addition, from the leaks published so far, it seems that the front screen of the device will be shorter and wider – so that it will look like a normal smartphone, and not like its predecessor.
As mentioned, in preparation for the launch in the US, Samsung is offering a discount of up to 200 dollars to those who register for the pre-order. The amount in question is expected to be divided among all the devices that it will announce at the event.
