by time news

It has just been a week since Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy S21 FE smartphone, when there are rumors about the next Korean flagship.

The Korean news site “Digital Daily” reportedthat the new Galaxy S22 will be presented on February 8th and will be available for purchase on February 24th. Samsung has confirmed this to the medium. However, there has not yet been an official invitation to a presentation.

According to “Digital Daily”, three different models of the Galaxy S22 are expected. Rumor has it that it will be an S22, an S22 + and an S22 Ultra. They should look similar to the models from 2021.

It is also rumored that the S22 will have a touchscreen with a 6.1-inch screen diagonal, while the S22 + will be either 6.5 or 6.6 inches. At 6.8 inches, the S22 Ultra would be the largest of the three models.

The backs of the cell phones should be made of glass. The S22 and S22 + are said to have three cameras on the back (main camera with 50 megapixels, telephoto with 10 MP). The S22 Ultra target even have four lenses installed (main camera 108 MP, ultra wide angle 12 MP, two telephotos with 10 MP each).

The ultra model should also have an S Pen on board, i.e. a pen with which you can write on the screen, draw or trigger commands with gestures. It would be a first for the Galaxy S series. The pen was reserved for the Galaxy Note series for a long time and was last introduced for the first time by the Galaxy Z Fold3 folding phone supports.

Instead of Samsung’s own Exynos processor, the S22 models are said to have installed the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The S22 and S22 + have rumor has it 8 gigabytes of RAM and can be purchased with either 128 or 256 GB of built-in memory. In addition to these two options, the Ultra model should also be available as a 512 gigabyte version, but with 12 instead of 8 gigabytes of RAM.

Whether the rumors will come true will probably become clear at the beginning of February.
