Samsung’s Park Byung-ho achieves 400th home run record in professional baseball history

Samsung’s Park Byung-ho (38) became the owner of the 400th home run in professional baseball. This is the third record in history, following Samsung’s Lee Seung-yeop (current Doosan manager, 464 home runs) and SSG’s Choi Jeong (491 home runs).

With his performance in professional baseball as a stepping stone, he entered the Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2016. Although he returned to Korea after two years due to his failure to settle in the major league, he still recorded 12 home runs on the MLB stage. He currently has a total of 412 home runs (based on the first team) in the Korean and American professional leagues.

This season, he was traded from KT in May and is wearing the Samsung uniform and is maintaining the center of the batting order.
