FC Vizela fell to the ground against AVS, in the second round of the League Cup. Pablo Villar presented a different starting lineup than the one he used against Marítimo, with Escoval and Unzueta being the reinforcements in the starting lineup, but things did not go well for the Minho team. Samu was paddling against the tide, but Vizela drowned in the lack of ideas.
The highlights…
Find: He was clearly Vizela’s best player. The team was lost for most of the game, but the captain tried to take the helm and turn what was the game of his vessel. Strong in pressure and judicious with the ball, as is his prerogative.
The reinforcements…
Unzueta: He suffered from his team’s inability to create. The ball never reached him in the best conditions. He was sacrificed early to the runner due to an injury and was eventually sacrificed at halftime.
Rodrigo Escoval: He was one of the players who left at halftime. He struggled with Nené, but he didn’t have a bad performance. Being one of Vizela’s most recent reinforcements, he was noted not to be very connected with the team.
Being: Unhappy debut. He came on at twenty minutes to replace the injured Lacava and there were few good actions he had in the game. He started in the corridor, then moved on to the striker, but in neither position was he an asset to the Vizelense team Bustamante: He entered during the second half and was one of those who most tried to change the course of the result. Intense in duels and with good judgment on the ball, he could be an interesting reinforcement for the Minho team.
Young people…
Mendez: Again as the most offensive midfielder, he failed to enchant again. He had very little ball and was not able to intervene much in the game. It can be seen that he is used to playing further back on the ground.
