The Renaissance MP for Yvelines, Karl Olive, praised “a symbol of resilience and dignity”, in a message posted on the X network. “Having accompanied him over the last twelve years, I can affirm that Samy died of sorrow,” said the president of the United Jewish Social Fund, Ariel Goldmann.
A life “under anesthesia, like a ghost” since March 2012
In March 2022, during a tribute to the victims of jihadist attacks in France, he moved by indicating that he had lived “under anesthesia” and “like a ghost” since “this carnage” of March 2012. In front of the Ozar-Hatorah school, on March 19, 2012, Mohammed Merah murdered Jonathan, Gabriel (6 years old) and Arieh (3 years old) solely because they were Jewish. In total, during his entire murderous journey, the terrorist had killed seven people before being shot dead during the Raid’s assault on his apartment on March 22.
