Sánchez Cordero said on Tuesday, when she announced her hospitalization, that her discomfort was related to open-heart surgery she underwent in 2017.

Due to her hospitalization, the legislator was unable to attend the debate and approval of the reform to the Judicial Branch that took place during the early hours of Wednesday.

Sánchez Cordero promoted the creation of a working group within the Morena party to propose modifications to the approved ruling, as he criticized the fact that aspects that should be included in secondary or regulatory laws were included in the Constitution.
