Sanchu Samson to beat. Hard training ahead of the series

by time news

Sanju Samson has started his preparations for the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. The star shared a video from the net session at the National Cricket Academy. The Malayali star, who made his T20 debut in 2015, made his ODI debut last year against Sri Lanka.

Sanchu Samson made it to the ODI team after a year. In the absence of first-choice wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, Samson and Ishan Kishan are in competition for a place in the playing XI. Kishan is part of the squad for the ODI series against England, so it is tipped that Ishan Kishan will be in the playing XI ahead of Sanju.

Sanju Samson was part of the squad for the tour of Ireland and the first T20 against England. The 27-year-old scored 251 runs in 14 T20Is and 46 runs in one ODI. With the senior players set to return for the five-match T20 series against West Indies, Sanju Samson is unlikely to retain his place in the T20 squad.
