Traveling by motorhome or campervan is in fashion and is one of the best experiences that exist: freedom of movement, without schedules or borders, and, almost always, in contact with nature. However, you have to haveclear set of rules so that your trips are not hell and break your pocket.
Parking in areas that obstruct the view of any commercial activity, monument and landscape, as well as removing tables, chairs, awnings and making annoying noises in areas not designated for this purpose, is considered a minor infraction punishable with fines of up to 750 euros.

It will be a serious sanction to camp outside the places authorized for it, for example on beaches. The fine in these cases will entail a disbursement of up to 1,500 euros.
Lastly, very serious sanctions include intentionally dumping liquids and waste in areas not set up for it, deteriorating street furniture and hindering traffic. Fines for these events will be up to 3,000 euros.
Like other road vehicles, speed is limited to 120 km/h on motorways and dual carriageways and 90 km/h on conventional roads – if it exceeds 3.5 tons in weight, 90 and 80, respectively. Depending on speeding, the penalty will be up to 600 euros and the loss of up to 6 points on the driver’s license.
