Sand Land is an action role-playing game based on the manga of the same name by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the agua es limited and humans live under the rule of an evil king. The protagonist is a young man named Sheik, who joins a demon named Beelzebub and other characters to search for a hidden water source.
Sand Land Combine melee combat with weapons and vehicles, such as tanks and jumping robots, which can be customized and upgraded. The game also has elements of exploration, puzzles, and side quests. The game features cel-shaded graphics that imitate the style of the manga and a soundtrack composed by Yoko Shimomura.
During the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase en Anime Expo 2023 we could see a gameplay trailer of various battles using vehicles. They featured a tank called Tank and a robotic vehicle called Jump-Bot. Each one has exclusive characteristics that make it unique for each situation or enemy.
