Thiruvalla: CPM Peringara Local Committee Secretary PB Police have taken evidence from the accused in the Sandeep Kumar murder case. Nedumbaram Kannankari, where the murder took place, reached the police station with the accused on Tuesday afternoon. But the hearing lasted only minutes, amid outrage from locals and party workers. Many people had gathered near Sandeep’s house when they came to know that the accused were being brought. Protests by women and others erupted when the accused were brought in. The locals shouted at the accused and shouted at them. Police stopped the vehicle and demanded that the accused be dropped off. After that, the police worked hard to control the locals.
