Jinken, who split from the Croatian club, is currently in India. There are indications that matters related to the transfer will be completed today and an official announcement will follow. A record amount to ATK, and from there to the Croatian club
Jinken, currently one of the best centerback players in the country, has signed a record deal with Kolkata giants ATK Mohan Bagan in 2020. The player, who played for ATK for one season, joined Croatian top club HNK Sibenik last year. Despite signing a one-season contract, Jinken was unable to return to action for the Croatian team due to an injury sustained during training. It was in this context that Jinken thought about returning to India, and now it is becoming a reality.
Former superstar of Kerala Blasters
Sandesh Jhinkan played for the Kerala Blasters in the first season of the Indian Super League in 2014. Jinken, who put in a stellar performance for the team in their final season, was also named the Emerging Player of the Season. He played for the Blasters in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. He also played for the Blasters in the 2019-20 season but was unable to play due to injury. He then split with the Blasters in 2020 and then moved to ATK.

Performance at ATK
Jinken played 22 matches for ATK Bagan in the 2020-21 season. His performance in the second season of the ATK and ISL was his best.
